1. What Pocket Poker Is

Pocket Poker is an educational and training app for Texas Hold'em. It may include calculators, lessons, Academy levels, guides, rewards systems, session tracking, leaderboard features, and tournament tools such as a blind timer.

Pocket Poker is not a real-money gambling service and does not offer wagering, deposits, cash prizes, or real-money gameplay inside the app. Nothing in the app guarantees that you will win hands, win tournaments, make money, or become a profitable player.

2. Education Only — No Guarantee Of Winning

Pocket Poker is a guide and training product only.

The app may provide recommendations, examples, drills, heuristics, rankings, quizzes, charts, or strategic teaching content, but none of that is a promise that you will:

• win poker hands;
• win cash games or tournaments;
• make a profit;
• become a winning player; or
• get the same result in real-world play.

Poker includes variance, incomplete information, human judgment, table dynamics, and opponent-dependent decision-making. App guidance may be simplified for teaching purposes and may not fit every situation, format, rule set, blind level, stack depth, or opponent pool.

You remain responsible for any decisions you make outside the app, including any real-money poker play.

3. No Financial, Legal, Or Professional Advice

Pocket Poker does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, psychological, or professional gambling advice.

If you choose to play poker for money anywhere outside the app, that decision is your responsibility.

4. Eligibility And Local Law

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Pocket Poker is legal where you live and for complying with any local rules relating to poker, gaming, age restrictions, or real-money play outside the app.

If your local law requires users to be above a certain age to access poker-related content or services, you must meet that age requirement before using the app.

5. Accounts

Some features may be available in guest mode, while others require an account.

If you create or use an account:

• you must provide accurate information;
• you are responsible for protecting your credentials and your device;
• you must not impersonate another person;
• you must not use another user's account without permission; and
• you may be offered sign-in methods such as email/password, verification code flows, or Google sign-in.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that abuse the app or violate these terms.

6. Data You Enter

You may choose to enter information into Pocket Poker, including session results, buy-ins, payouts, positions, notes, display names, or support messages.

You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of what you submit. Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or invasive of another person's privacy.

7. Leaderboard And Public Display

Pocket Poker may include a leaderboard or similar public ranking surface.

If you choose to join the leaderboard, your display name and leaderboard stats, such as XP, rank, stars, streak, levels completed, and similar summary stats, may be visible to other users. Your email address is not displayed on the leaderboard.

If you later opt out, we will stop displaying your leaderboard entry within a reasonable period, while keeping your private training progress in your account unless you delete that account.

8. Virtual Rewards, XP, Coins, Gems, And Power-Ups

Pocket Poker may include virtual points, XP, coins, gems, badges, chests, streaks, energy, and power-ups.

These are digital gameplay mechanics only. They:

• are not money;
• have no cash value;
• are not redeemable for cash;
• are not property rights;
• may not be sold or transferred outside the app unless we clearly allow it; and
• may be changed, rebalanced, reset, limited, or removed by us at any time.

9. Advertisements

Pocket Poker may display banner ads and optional rewarded ads.

By using the app, you understand that ads may appear and that optional rewards may depend on ad availability, platform behavior, consent status, region, network conditions, or provider restrictions.

We do not guarantee that rewarded ads will always be available.

9A. Subscriptions (planned)

Free-only build note: the version of Pocket Poker shipped to Google Play today does not include any active paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, RevenueCat purchase verification, or AI coaching. The terms below describe planned behavior for when Pocket Poker Pro and Pro+ are enabled in a future update — they are not active in this build.

Pocket Poker may offer optional paid subscriptions, such as Pocket Poker Pro or Pocket Poker Pro+.

Subscriptions will be purchased, renewed, and billed through Google Play. Pricing, billing period, and auto-renewal behavior will be shown at the time of purchase. You can manage or cancel an active subscription at any time through your Google Play account.

Refunds will be handled according to Google Play's refund policy. For refund requests, visit your Google Play account or contact Google Play support.

Subscription features may include extended learning content, advanced review tooling, a separate Coach Hub area, and AI coaching powered by Google Gemini (described in detail in section 15 of the Privacy Policy). Pro will be positioned as “I get help” — Pocket Coach explains your Academy hands and your wrong answers. Pro+ will be positioned as “I get coached personally” — a personal weekly leak plan, longer Deep Reviews, and saved coaching history. Some features may be marked as not yet available; those features are not guaranteed to ship on a specific date and may be changed or removed before release. AI coaching will only be available inside Pocket Poker's Academy, saved practice hands, Academy mistakes, and Decision Checkup; AI coaching will not be used to advise on hands in a live game.

Virtual rewards, coins, gems, power-ups, streak savers, daily challenges, and similar earned items will remain available to Pro and Pro+ subscribers and are subject to section 8 of these Terms. They have no cash value.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the app for unlawful purposes;
• attempt to hack, scrape, probe, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the app or its services;
• use bots, scripts, automation, emulation abuse, or exploit loops to farm rewards or bypass systems;
• create multiple accounts to manipulate rewards, leaderboard position, or abuse progression systems;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where mandatory law permits;
• submit false bug reports, malicious files, or abusive support content; or
• misuse the app in a way that harms the service, other users, or our systems.

11. Intellectual Property

Pocket Poker, including its code, design, text, visuals, audio, curriculum, strategy explanations, branding, and original content, is owned by TayGames or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the app for personal, non-exclusive use only. You may not copy, resell, distribute, modify, or create derivative commercial works from the app except where we expressly allow it in writing.

12. Availability, Updates, And Product Changes

We may update, rebalance, redesign, pause, or remove parts of Pocket Poker at any time. This may include changes to rewards systems, Academy content, leaderboard logic, ads behavior, account flows, or support features.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available, unchanged, or supported forever.

13. Disclaimer Of Warranties

Pocket Poker is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, always available, always secure, or suitable for your specific poker goals.

14. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TayGames will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Pocket Poker.

This includes, without limitation:

• loss of profits;
• gambling losses;
• poor poker results;
• lost data;
• account issues;
• device issues;
• interruptions in service; or
• reliance on educational content or strategy suggestions.

If local law does not allow certain liability exclusions, those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

15. Suspension, Termination, And Deletion

You may stop using Pocket Poker at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to the app or an account if we reasonably believe there has been abuse, fraud, unlawful conduct, security risk, or a violation of these terms.

If you want your account deleted, use the deletion path provided in the app or on the public account deletion page.

16. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your continued use of Pocket Poker after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
